tokens for every USA dollar spent

so yeah im in canada , and 1 of my dollars is only 0.77 worth of a us dollar, so if im thinking correctly , i need to spend more money then an american would to get more tokens, thats kinda bullcrap. i think steam needs to broaden this more then just US dollars, seems only americans benifit from this token event. this is not bait, no trolling , just something that hit me when i was looking at things to day, and wondered what other people would think. if your going to troll, or harass or make any type of negative comment find another post to troll. im just trying to understand.

Which doesn't change anything that I said. You don't get the amount of tokens that you should get even though it says "$1 =1 token.
