Invite a Friend to Play a Game Does not work.

Me and my friends have been trying to invite to lobby through Killing floor 2 / left 4 dead and other games and is not working.

Try using Remote Play Together, others have had more luck with that. If you don't own a compatible game, this is my recommendation

Invite to remote play worked, which it shouldn't have because the quest is explicitly "invite to LOBBY". More importantly, the lobby invitation command plain didn't seem to work most of the time and didn't even warn you that it didn't.

CsGo and Payday 2 fail via the overlay. Have no other multiplayer installed without setting up my VR.

Verifying that this works. Alien Swarm: Reactive Drop does not work.

Seriously Steam, get your **** together, it explicitly says "lobby", yet lobby doesn't work.

yeah sure - if anyone wants to get the task - add me to friends and then install that game (goblin) above - then just invite me to remote play it - we dont even need to do it - just the invite - then refresh your page

you'd think they could go at least one event without being total MORONS...so far, I've tried Terraria (invite to lobby get in game NOTHING)...next, Killing floor, same, Next LFD2 NOTHING. Quest stays unchecked and undone despite getting into 3 different lobby > Games with friend. What frakking game are we suppose to fo do this idiotic crap with? Of course i'm not surprised they would BORK one to keep players from getting the "all quests done" prize.

Word. If this is supposed to encourage me to use the new features, it's doing the opposite. It's making me think that the feature doesn't work because the challenge doesn't, even though the feature does. Frustration? Yes!

well the remote play thing worked, as far as the quest, the actual ATTEMPT to remote play failed, but it at least cleared the quest. Idiots, just idiots. So actually inviting and playing MP doesn't work, but failed remote play does clear the quest...go figure.
