i saw epic games doing some nice things , why steam do nothing?

There's no reason to. Epic has to draw users to it, Steam does not.

that's true , but one day Epic will be a truly deal for Steam , and this ain't a bad thing for us , since we will get better sales and similar things!

It is not necessary to make a '' counterattack '' I mean, for me, Epic is far from beating Steam, he does not even beat him with free games. I didn't see the games they are going to give but there must be only 2-4 games worthwhile in those 12 free games.
