Disco Elysium for Game of the Year
Disco Elysium was out closer to the end of the year and many people didn't had chance to vote for it when nomination candidates were selected.

And now Disco Elysium not in the "Game of the Year" candidate list just because of that. However many, MANY people claim it to be the best of 2019. And now they they can't vote for it because previous round of voting was so much before the end of the year.

Is there any chance to still add Disco Elysium to the candidates of "Game of the Year 2019" nomination?

It's already nominate for story rich. If it can't win that, then no way it will win GOTY

...we'll see

Well, if DE fails to win "story rich" award I'll lose my trust in steam awards :steamsad:

The real problem is that many people voting for these have probably never heard of the game. For them, it's just a way to get another trading card.

This is compounded when you see names like "Far Cry" or "Gears" which are both household names.

I'm not saying it's fair, just how human nature is.

All games were nominated by steam users, that is who your "problem" is with. The games that will win will be those voted for by users.

The problem here that the voting for nomination was set much before the main voting so the games that were released later got much less votes just because people had less time to see and play them.

3 weeks is not much time between nominations and final voting.

After their speech at TGA 2019 I wouldn't vote for them even if they were the only game released in 2019.

Nah, but I believe that Sekiro doesn't deserve it either (game awards)

I was hoping the title would earn a nomination, too.
