It's one of those retarded decisions made by someone who thinks they are a marketing genius. While in fact it's just one of those things likely to drive people away.
"Why show it when player count is high, and not when low?" one might wonder. "Because they are trying to manipulate you." another may answer.
I'm so done with being acceptive towards these practices.
Including graphs showing the increase or decline of the playerbase to make a better decision if a game is active or not.
Seems fine to me, if your going by how many people play it, and the number of people playing it is so low then it doesn't register then i'd pass on it.....
Especially as player count doesn't mean online players, so when its that low its a no brainer.
