If I can hear myself? Hey, I find that as a much better alternative.
So my headset uses a single cable for the microphone and audio, but to use it with my computer it needs this Headphone/Microphone Combo Jack splitter.
I bought a really cheap one since my headset didn't include one and as it turns out the cheap splitter cable was the problem all along.
I borrowed my brother's jack splitter (we both bought HyperX headsets) and started to work perfectly.
I also recommend trying other platforms for calls instead
