Show real name instead of the nickname

Hi guys, I could not find help so far. I want the steam friendlist to show me the real names of someone and not the nickname. At the moment steam only shows me the nicknames in my friendlist and at the top of a chatwindow. I'd like to change it back to the old style where i can see the real name and behind that the nickname. For example: Zero_Carl (Nickname).
Does anyone know how I can change this? A link to a guide would also help. Thx! Greetings Carl

You can change it to show their actual name in the settings. You can find them by clicking on the cog in the friend list window.
