FPS/RPG - Immersive Sim List
Immersive sim is a game genre that tries to allow the player to follow a rich story with his own playstyle, while being as immersive as possible in often vast and detailed environnements and characters. Theses games are often based on a mix of first person shooter and role playing games elements and tends to provide multiple paths for a single objective. Immersive sims are rare, often underated and not well known, This is why I'd like to list as many immersive sim as possible in this thread. Would you consider games that are partially/fully online for this?

Because if so I'd like to add EVE Online. It was almost a social experiment; the idea was to immerse players in a simulated society and economy and see what would happen. As it turned out, murder, betrayel, and the best Emergent Stories I've ever seen in fifteen years of gaming.

Fallout 3, 4 and Vegas should be on the list.

They don't really count for the immersion part. When the physics get buggy it can be immersion breaking.

Right, cause the random objects in Vampire weren't immersion breaking...

Never encountered that bug in Fallout 3, I'm still calling for them to be added.

Deus Ex was so ahead of its time, it didn't even need immersion breaking physics, of which it had plenty. It had immersion breaking voice acting! I SPILL MY DRINK!
