The games are no longer sold as the license expired and the publisher can not legally sell them anymore.
You can try to get some unsealed retail copies or if it doesn't use any prohibitive DRM even a used copy. But expect to pay a lot.
Regarding playability, depends entirely on the game.
This....Well, they just REPLACED by a REMASTERED, except TRANSFORMERS (which I give zero f@#%), because I played it on console.
I mean c'mon, you know this already and It ain't what I'm lookin' for.
(look at this, I just pasted link to site of developers but steam removes it, so if you're interested google this game and you'll see how to obtain legit copy of it)
Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse
amazing game where you play as zombie and infect humans. amazing experience, fun. maybe it has console release but it's not published for PC
Blood Omen: Legacy of Kain
first game in LoK series, published on consoles, still lacks PC version for purchase. I'd say it is better than older LoK games, being 2D and in different setting, with nice controls compared to 3D of early era.
Most of the times these games go out of circulation is due to IP and licensing issues.
I mean I'm still hoping to snag X-men Legends 1 and 2 again. Might actually happen now that both fox and Marvel are under the same umbrella.
This game is super rare. Only a few copies were made and pc copies are even rarer at a time when Pc gaming wasn’t that popular. The game is basically Sea Dogs 2 but Disney bought the rights right before the movie was released as a tie in. The game was already finished, so it barely makes any references to the movie. But because Disney bought it, they still own the rights, so while all the other Sea Dogs games are on Steam, this one isn’t until Disney gives the go ahead (which isn’t likely to happen ever because Disney doesn’t care about old products). The game is also pretty mediocre until you install the New Horizons mod, which is basically the ultimate pirate simulator. Imagine something like a more in-depth Blackflag with the gameplay of Sid Meiers Pirates! That’s the best way I can describe it. Completely open world pirate simulator.
