Verifying login information
This is starting to get annoying now. Since a while I (and no doubt everyone else) am getting these login checks from the Steam client on almost every community page I try to view. The result is that it often bugs out loading the page. I try to open 'messages', I get the 'verifying login' and then after loading for 5 seconds the page bugs out with a message 'problem connecting with the steam server'. This is happening for at least 2 weeks now.

Is Steam under DDOS attacks lately and thats the reason for the constant login checks?

No DDOS attacks.

It has just been going on for a couple months.

No worries. It was way down on the list of topics. I had to look for it too. I knew it was there though.
