in-home streaming issue - seeing double images
I went to stream one of my games from a 6th gen surface pro to my older laptop, and while the streaming worked, the streamed screen images were shrunken and it was shown twice, side by side I don't know what is the cause, but i am pretty sure it's isn't the game, since it is happening accross multiple titles. i will try and post an image of what i am seeing if i can.

Most likely a DPI issue. The Surface is running something above 100% and the game can't cope.

Couple of ideas. First, theres a setting called something kn the lines of "Change host resolution to match the client resolution". Nable it, see if that fixes things.

do you means the scaling and layout option in windows 10 settings app? i checked and it's at the default of 200%, whuile on my laptop the equivelent setting is set too 100%.

I checked the host option you mentioned in steam settings, and it was already turned on.

i went to load a game again via streaming, and i found that the game was still running and had never shutdown. oddly enough, the streamed display worked right after that. i don't know why it doesn not work right right off the bat.
