Requested a refund and its been 2 days

I bought something, but didn't want it right now so i put in a refund request 2 days ago, i got an email that the money was being put back on my America serve card, but its been two days, and it says on hold and it says " We’ve issued the refund to the payment provider. You should see a credit or see the original charge removed from your statement within 14 days. "

does it usually take this long

For me it usually takes about a week for my MC

Refunds outside of Steam ( bank account/credit card/ PayPal) can take up to 14 days, yes.
Refunds to Steam Wallet can take 7 days but are usually much faster ( inside 24 hours) in my experience.

its normal, the transaction is not instant

It can take up to 14 days for a refund to process. But based on my experiences your money should be back by 3-4 days
