Why are the steam prices much lower in russia much much lower than on russian consoles?
So in russia prices for console games are much higher than in EU and USA. But on russian steam the prices are much lower than in EU and USA. Why so?

Currency difference, is why it's lower.

Think of this way, our $60 game is like $120 to them. Would you pay $120 for the same standard game? Of course not, that why prices had to be lowered so people will buy it, which why it's so cheap.

Now for console for physical copies they want much as they can get out of it, while not trying to be too expensive to them, for digital copies, IDK why they do that, keeping it the same price as the physical copies on launch date, as they should've been lower since you're not paying for physical copy, but I can only assume they wanted to sell at those prices, or there's more at play for the reason to be at the prices.

Far as I know most of the platforms on PC allow devs/pubs to adjust their prices for each of the supported country, and/or currency.

Not so much to do with currency difference but with average income. If you only make like 800 bucks a months for stuff like rent, gas, electrifity and food you dont have the money to spend 70 bucks on the newest AAA release. So these only cost like 25 in that region.
Same with other regional pricings, its most of the time based on local economy/income.

Piracy. Same reason windows licenses are cheaper in China. They're trying to avoid piracy so they offer incentives.
