download queue?
why don't the games i have with updates download right away? i'll log in and it says it will download at 4:32AM and it 5:30PM the day before and it gives me option to download now? whats the logic behind this?, never asked before figured i'd ask now since i have 14 games that need updates but if i leave steam open they wont down until after 1AM

They add a delay to the download to spread the load on their servers. IE: They don't want 10,000,000 accounts downloading the latest update at the same time, especially when 90% of them won't play that game in the next week anyway.
'Active' games, ones you've played very recently, will get the update quickly, often with little to no delay.

ok, that slipped my mind, diddn't think of that, now i feel dumb lol

When one game is being downloaded adding another one replaces first one in queue... Please add option to just add to queue.

We need this! Having to interupt and constantly stop downloads just to add another game to the top of the list is annoying. Instead of "download now" make it add to the download queue instead of putting everything at the top. I think its a basic/important QoL feature thats long overdue and a LOT of people want.

Please make this a reality :steamthis: :steamthumbsup:
