Why is the Bahamas on restricted to the same gifting region of Brazil and Argentina?
Bahamians pay in US dollars. Shouldn't we be able to send gifts to US players? There's a huge disparity in how much I pay as a Bahamian player (the same as US players) and how much players from Brazil and Argentina pay (i.e. a lot less).

I'm very disapointed, and as a result I am not buying certain games I planned to gift to my US and Canadian friends.

Regional pricing is still a thing.

If the price difference between the 2 regions is more than 10% after currency conversion, you can not gift it. The original regional restrictions still apply, if the game has them.

If that is the case, send one of these using external funds only...

For custom amounts over the minimum allowed to purchase, use this guide...

For price references, use this site... https://steamdb.info/

Yeah, this is so stupid. It's like the person in charge of this saw "Bahamas?" huh let me not look into the value of their dollar and just put them in a tropical region group. Which makes no sense since I'm WAY closer to florida than Brazil.

The external funds thingsis helpful though, I guess I'll go with that. The only sucky thing about it is that buying 4 packs of the same game is useless for me to do now.

And regional pricing? Sadly I do not benefit from that, every price is exactly the same for every item. And there is no currency conversion at all! I literally pay in US dollars. And even if I paid in bahamian dollars it is nowhere near a 10% difference. The currency conversion for Bahamian dollars is 1 Bahamian Dollar equals
1.00 United States Dollar. https://www.xe.com/currencyconverter/convert/?Amount=1&From=USD&To=BSD

So Idk why steam has to do this. Makes me wish I used a vpn and paid in Brazil dollars INSTEAD of US since they were going to put me in that region category anyway.

IS there anyway I can contact steam to change this? Twitter maybe?

It has a region restriction on the game. It can only be sent to users in the region you are in, SA region. Ask the developer to remove that restriction.

Digital gift cards is the best bet though.

I thought steam chose the region restrictions, not the developers. And at this point, yeah, digital gift cards are looking a lot better.
