Purchase Regrets.
Just curious what everyone does with those games they purchase and aren't really satisfied with; but you have played to long to get a refund. Do you just uninstall and maybe try later on or do you remove it from your list? I have a game or two like that that are way past any chance of getting a refund. Totally regret the purchases. Wondering what you all do with them? I also have a game or two where I have given them a second chance and once I got past the curve, they havent been too bad. But then there is a couple that I am kicking myself for wasting money on.

I just dont stress myself about it. Its just something that can happen.
Of course if i just bought it and it was a more expensive game i usually refund it.
But its mostly small to medium size games that i buy during sales and then try months later to discover " meh that sucks".

I just accept that it was a bad purchase and move on. I usually put those titles in a " will never play" category and forget about them.
With the amount of games i own there are easily a 100+ games like this in my collection.

Typically I uninstall the game wait a few month or years and sometimes end up trying it again.

I have actually found some of those retrying of a game has shown me some hidden gems I didn't appreciate at first. Like the Witcher. The combat system in the first game really put me off. But on a second try half a year later I loved the story finished it and picked up the sequel.

Yeah, I guess thats the thing. No matter how exciting a game looks, there is always a chance it won't be what you thought. Luckily, I have only 1 purchase along with some DLC that I really wished I hadn't bought it. Then one other that I spent around 40 bucks on, I guess there is worse. But then I guess it doe even out because I have had a few that I got on a good sale, and played them much more than I thought I so I guess it does even out.

I just ignore them and move on. If a game can’t hold my interest I just move on, there are too many choices out there, so no need to trudge through a game I’m not enjoying. No stress, no worry about wasting money.

Took a step further last month and just "delit" those games i was newer gonna play.
Include some humble bundles that was tied to each other.

I guess that is the healthiest way to look at it. Stuff happens, no one is gonna like everything. Move on and don't dwell on it, especially if you are stuck with it.

Well, lets just say i bought "Fallout 76" two weeks ago for 60 bucks.
So yeah.... still happens.
Best way is really not to be too angry about it because it cant be changed anyway.
So whats the point? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

LOL, had it been on Steam I would have too. I didn't really think of that, but that is true too. Another one of the "can't do anything about it anyway" issues life throws at you.

Thanks everyone, as frustrating as it is it isn't the end of the world. And one game, I did enjoy it at first so maybe a break is all I need. But if not, like you all have said don't stress out over it.

Is there a way to hide individual titles?

There are more games I'm uninterested in bundles I purchase than games I purchase individually.

I uninstall games and try them later on. Sometimes I do like them after giving them a second chance, sometimes I just move on and play something else.

I rarely pay over $10 for a game unless I'm sure I like it, so its usually no big deal if I don't like an occasional game I purchase.

I bought a game called Warfare, and it did not even work. it was $10-$20.

I've yet to regret a game purchase I've made. That is only because I take time to know what I'm buying first.

I used too many refunds cant refund games anymore

I always buys games that cost under 10$

So if i dont like the game i will be okay

I bought bo2 for zombies i didnt liked it then i bought WaW and i forgot about that bo2 purchase

And also dead island riptide définitive édition its so hard to play with people servers are buggy and you cant play with ppl who got regular version

I hide those games. I don't mourn the financial loss as I always bu games on sale but I use the game as a learning experience to prevent mispurchases in future.
