Revoking access to games that were gifted?
Bought like a couple games for someone who unfortunately was ungrateful for em.

Is there any way I could take away these games I bought for them? Or is that impossible and I'm just screwed 100%? Because these purchases are past the refund date. Although I'm cool with just a simple revoke or smth.

Not possible. Once you gifted the game away it becomes the property of the receiver.
Those are 100% his games now.
There is no way to revoke gifted games at a later date because you changed your mind or similar.

Nope. Refund period is over with, and customers cannot request for a revoke.

Even if the refund period was still active, the person who received the gifts has to agree to a refund. Which i doubt in this case.

Welp that's a loss of $13

"ungrateful"? so you were expecting something in return for gifting someone something? thats not quite how gifting works

no i should have said that there was long term conflict between me and said person.

Reasons why do not matter. Gifters remorse is never a reason to screw another person over on a gift you sent to them.

Gift is gift. I don't see the point of people giving something to someone but are willing to take it back if they have some conflict afterward.

If someone wants something they can buy it themselves, these games came out of my wallet meaning i own them and im letting someone borrow them.

You own nothing. The ownership (license) was transferred via the gift to the other account.

Nope, you don't own anything purchased on Steam (or any software at all).. all you purchase is a limited license to use the software, and in this case you put that license in his name..

In the future, if you disagreeing with someone is enough to trigger buyers remorse, maybe gifting isn't for you

In that case, those games' licenses don't belong to you at all since you gifted them. Too bad for you. That kind of logic you have is pretty terrible, btw.

You gifted the game out so you weren't letting someone borrow them, you just purchased the license for another account.

If you are so bitter about it, go force a refund on your bank/payment media, this way you'll also be able to block the payment method you have used from doing any more transactions with steam in the future.

I understand the rules of gifting, but its perfectly reasonable to not want anyone to have/keep something you paid for. I made this thread specifically for a way to at least refund the games, but due to steams policy this is not possible.
Games are not needs, you can't screw someone over for taking back something they don't need.

If you think that it's perfectly reasonable to don't want someone to have/keep something you paid for, sorry but you don't understand the rules of gifting at all. No doubt you have a long term conflict with that said friend. Sorry to say that but you look like a terrible friend.

I understand now how your "friend" feels and why there was "long term conflict."
