Failed to start upload: Image failed to upload

Im having an issue with trying to share images with my friend via steam chat, and images will always fail with the error message "Failed to start upload: Image failed to upload" Im unsure how to fix this, anyone happen to know what the issue is? This only became a problem in the past few days.

Happening to me as well. Tried restarting, tried different images. Nothing is working.

Same here, been happening the past week or so. Tried restarting, family view wasn't even enabled in the first place, different file types don't work so none of the fixes have done anything for me either.

Try one of these options.

- Clear cache, and cookies.

- Opt in / out Steam beta.

- Run Steam as administrator.

- Check your 3rd party app was blocking certain things, such as anti virus, firewall, or etc...

- If using custom DNS, check on that, either change to a new one, or put it to default.

- If using router as firewall, check to see if it's blocking certain things.

- If you done something on the modem/router to cause ports to be blocked, check into that.

- Reinstall Steam, ensure when you uninstall, the Steam folder is removed as well, before you try to reinstall.

Also have this problem, strange this is when i log into my alt account it works fine, but on this one it doesn't work. Quite frustrating

Seems to work a lot of others, either they opt in, or opt out to fix their issue. But list other options as they can also help fix others that has the issue if beta doesn't fix their issue.
