DDOS ATTACK HELP ME
Someone has my ip address and he is saying he is gonna ddos me what should i do ? is there a way to change my ip in home without going to the police ?

You can't be 100% sure with this statement.... just stupid... or do you know the OP and if he has maybe a static ip? No you cant tell it... so maybe ask before giving this tipp.

The vast majority of people have dynamic ip's even if he did not he could call his ISP and get it changed. The main problem here is more likely, that another kid told me he would ddos him to scare him. That is the entire point of my post.

If he is not yet ddosed (he most certainly is not) then most likely he never will be.

Calm down. First, welcome to the internet. This will not be the last internet thug who will threat you with those fake DDOS attack. Besides, just resetting your internet modem will change your IP.

Lol happened to me when I was a little kid, guy told my brother on ventrillo 'Have fun with no internet' than DDoSed us.

12 hours and your able to answer...so i dont think there will come a ddos...
the tipp above should change the ip (or directly over the web interface of your modem) if its not help just call your ISP

i just disconnected the power and waited 2 min nothing happens did i do wrong ?

i got a technicolor router and i was searching and there is a way to change things in google chrome like the password of net etc so is there a way to change the ip?

sry dont have any experience with technicolor (didnt knew it before that post lol) anyway disconnection from power and wait a little bit longer should do the trick

again at last you can call your ISP if you get ddos'ed. they can give you another public ip

lol no. they give you your public ip anytime without it you cant access the internet.
but you should contact them only if you rly cant do anything by yourself and you get ddos'ed.
so dont contact them before or after just because for another public ip.
