FedEx Lost the Steam Controller Package ...
I submitted a Steam support ticket several days ago - no response at all.

I submit for a refund (as FedEx has stated they've given up looking for it at this time) - and it auto-Emails me a shipping label to return the item (that I never received).

There's no phone support and apparently no way to get a hold of anybody .. so what in the *bleep* am I supposed to do besides possibly bricking my account by contacting the credit card company to reverse the charge ??

This is insane!

Yup - saw that. We're past those time frames already. ;\ (we're currently at 6 days btw)

They're called averages for a reason.

Only thing you can do is wait for a response.

I believe there working days not weekdays so add an extra two days for the weekend.

I understand how "averages" work ... however the bank also has deadlines and, after rummaging around various places, mine is not the only package to have been "lost" from Steam ... hence the question and concern given how the holidays are, if you didn't notice, almost here.

FedEx lost it, not Steam. Steam can't lose any physical things as it is just a program.

So ... you're saying a Steam Controller (and a Steam Box when it was a thing) - sold and shipped by Steam is 'just a program'? Please stop responding if you're going to be like this.

Being patient regarding the response on your support ticket is all you can do.
Is it even the shippers responsibility to issue a refund? Doesn’t Fedex offer insurance for lost packages and you file a claim with them?
Fair enough .. at this point I'll give it till the end of the week then go the credit card route I guess. I've never had an issue with Steam before .. so .. I guess had to happen sometime.

Matt - FedEx gives a refund to the shipper due to the loss. They have nothing to do with the recipient at all as they didn't pay anything to FedEx themselves.

You better be careful about that "credit card route".
Oh .. I know. I might take the loss if the end of the week comes and nothing is happening still .. I dunno. I'm just annoyed and saddened as this was a gift for a kid who's FINALLY able to utilize things like this. It doesn't help there was a $5 sale "getting rid of leftovers" after I purchased it either. :(
