Yeah, it annoys me too because now suddenly I'm getting recommended ALL the anime visual novels again, it's one of my worst nightmares made material.
Considering I am one who personally prefers roguelikes, open world and survival games and am someone who avoids visual novels like the plague, I find it irritating that I suddenly see crap like nekopara being recommended to me again when they were the first of the many games I marked as not interested.
I'm hoping this gets fixed.
I have a feeling it won't...
I'm just going to have to start marking every damn anime visual novel dating sim that steam idiotically recommends me as not interested again.
Safe to say I am not very happy about this.
I contacted Steam support, we'll see what they say.
I know right?
When I saw call of duty in my queue again that raised a red flag for me, not to mention seeing nekopara and huniepop in my recommendations again(under tags that are completely irrelevent to them nonetheless) sure enough I saw my not interested list had reset.
Guess the old "not interested" list will not work anymore with that new update so they turned it off in the last update.
Or its just some error, who knows.
Over 26k games marked as not interested and now that list is back to 0.
I do wonder if it really is filter system overhauling or just an excuse to shove them garbage into our faces again, so they can milk the hell of out us. Even if it is true, one day in the future this would happen again and we all suffer
But 10-20k like i read here, ouch.
