How long before the "Too many attempts from network?" resets?
I changed my password this morning,and cleared my laptop's cache.Steam asked for a code that was sent to my email.I accidentally mistyped it and it locked me out saying "Too many attempts from your network..Please try again later" This was at 9:00 am this morning, it is now 11:00 PM and I'm still getting the issue.Changing my password doesn't work.I'm only able to access my account via the client.

However, I logged off of my wi-fi and made my phone a hot spot.And I was able to access it just fine.So for some reason its an issue with my actual network, as logging in from a hot spot or a completely new net work, works fine.

Try resetting the modem/router that may help. Also i dont know if it is possible but try hard wiring the laptop to the router and see if that makes a difference.

Also have you tried requesting a new code from Steam?

This happened to me once before and i believe resetting the router is what fixed it.

Worst case scenario youre going to have to try and reach out to Steam Support and let them reset your account.

Also don't keep trying without a large gap. It will reset the timer and depending on implementation potentially extend it.

At this point I would contact support and wait at least 24 hours before another attempt.

Oh I didn't know trying it again resets and extends it.Maybe that's what was happening.
I was able to get in by using my phone as a hot spot.I don't have a wire to plug my laptop to the modem, but I'll have to try shutting the wif off and back on.I went and contacted steam, but not sure if they'll respond or not.ITs now 8:00 am and still locked.

Can you let me know if they respond - their customer service is terrible. I just need someone to call (no EU number I can find) and get my account reset.

I have the same issue, but I cant log in to raise a ticket because it tells me I have had too many login attempts (was trying to sync up faceit), so I am basically stuck. Note: I have my password and have logged in/out of the client to check it is correct - it is. I also left it overnight - I suspect I may have to wait 24 hours - BUT THERE IS NO INFORMATION ON HOW LONG!

If I didnt want to play CS:GO I doubt I would use steam at all. Such a frustrating process.
I was only able to login because I disconnected from my network and turned on my hotspot on my phone.Yes, I usually never get a response from support.

Dynamic IPs are a thing you all should look into, if available.

I waited 24 hours - works now. Terrible customer service though - no help whatsoever.
