mean Dangerous Website forbidden heuristic analyse of my security tool is my steam infected or is this a legit steam site why does steam web helper trys to connect there

Why would Steam-chat.com be a legitimate site? I ran that in edge and it won't even resolve. You got hit with a short term scam Eiernacken.

dude i run steam exe and my internet security tool give me this warning
but i didnt downloaded any thing the last 5 days so my question is why would steam web helper connect to this site

i delete the webhelper exe and start steam again he downloaded the file again but when he runs it i get again the message that web helper trys to connect sterm-chat.com and it got forbidden

er, sterm-chat sure as ♥♥♥♥ ain't valve, I'd say uninstall anything you don't recognize. Heck, I'd say nuke it from orbit, but I'm a paranoid guy. I like kaspersky. I used to recommend it when I worked retail.

It's part of the Steam Client, not a scam. What OP has is a heuristic match, a false positive.

Maybe you also want to report to Kaspersky about it, so they can properly unblock it.

i already contacted the kasperksy support because every thing is running like it should soo its a bit strange
