do communities and games ever get deleted completey?
so I was wondering as since I have games like TUG and Deus Ex: Human Revolution that you currently can't buy anymore(HR was removed for the directors cut, which I still own the old one)

could it be possible for devs or steam to remove the games communities?

obivously I know you will never lose a game, but I am kinda curious to know if devs can ask steam to remove communities, as HR doesn't even have a store page but TUG still kinda does

my last question would be this: if a company say like the makers of knights of the old republic or a indie game like tug, aren't offically around anymore for support, can steam support give users game support in leu of a MIA company?

I have tried to reach out to users with issue to the game TUG, as nerdkingdom and their email support do not actually respond to anyone anymore, thus users give up on playing the game, and alot of them are private profiles

one user I talked to said that he backed the game, but never played it, and he says he added the game to his library, but it seems to have disapeared, and buying it on humble only gave him links to twitter and youtube, not a steam key

just let me know if anyone has answers, if I am being honest seeing people on the TUG forums is a good sign, but seeing as how the company wants to distant themsevles from TUG, I am kinda worried that if they could shut down the steam community, they would do it in a heartbeat, as its the only other place TUG players and backers go to

They usually don't touch the game hubs.

Deus Ex: Human Revolution forum ---> https://steamcommunity.com/app/28050/discussions/

TUG forum ---> https://steamcommunity.com/app/277930/discussions/

Support only assists with Valve made games. You would have to contact the developer, publisher or ask for help in the game hub.

ah I see , thats a shame, the makers of TUG are MIA, which basically from what you, means if indie devs leave their game entirely, then a user is stuck with a broken game or a humble pack that doesn't work?

what makes this worse is steam only gives refunds for 4 or less played years, up to a week

the return policy needs to extend a little more, especially for old games that were made before greenlight disapeared
