How do I get rid of this hentai, waifu stuff on my store page?

So, in general, I'm pretty easy going. But at this particular point in time I am quite fed up with the large amount of cheap ass hentai crap in my queue/trending list, and would prefer to have it disappear for a bit. But what setting can I change, that would not also affect proper games like Witcher 3 (which is also tagged with "nudity")? There doesn't seem to be a "hentai" tag to tick off.

Just remember that Waifu is not always hentai...

I see you like to own/play anime type games. That is one reason why.

Thanks for reply. Which setting do you suggest I change that would not also block proper games? I tried creating my own tag "hentai" but it doesn't seem to have an effect. Selecting the tags "Nudity" or "Sexual content" is not an option, since there are proper games tagged with that.

I find it odd that nearly all of the games with that tag seem to be Pellefant's noted type and topic.

further more I am not sure many of them can really be called games in the same way that a choose your own adventure picture book can be called a novel.

the tags are being abused by trolls to make it nearly impossible to use them as a shopping guideline. check out "psychological horror" and you'll find every possible genre including bonafide kids' games. if you use community tags, you're not going to get reliable results.

Yeah, I've been experiencing this as well.

I used to use the "Anime" tag as a filter but I actually have/like a few Anime games, fighters like Blazblue/Guilty Gear, RPGs like Ys... even Rogue-likes(Tangledeep).

As noted, "Hentai" does not do much as, ironically, a lot of the "Hentai Puzzle/Fighter/Novel" don't use "Hentai" as a tag.

What helped me out a bit was manually visiting the Store Page for those "Hentai" style games and selecting the "Ignore" button. After ~20-30 of them, a lot of them no longer appear on my Store Page anymore.(apparently I've ignored over 250 titles lol)

Unfortunately that's the best you can do for now. Thankfully Valve is going to be rolling out more/better tools to customize your Store viewing, like globally ignoring/blocking Developers/Publishers etc.

I'm not sure what you are thinking of? My preferred genre is JRPG and I do enjoy anime, however I prefer to avoid games which focuses more or less solely on nudity to sell (like recent releases "Hentai IQ Puzzles" and "Deep Space Waifu: Fantasy"). I am not aware that I own any hentai stuff or anything associated with the tag "Adult Only Sexual Content" (which was already unticked).

Look at the date of the last post, 3 years ago. There was no "Hentai" tag then.
