BUG: Failed to upload image data to cloud server

On a few occasions, today and a few days ago, I try to upload an image to show a friend via Steam's friend chat, but I get the message "Failed to upload image data to cloud server"

Is there anything I can do to fix this, or is this an issue only Steam can fix?

I'm trying to upload a jpg of a game screenshot, I clicked the paperclip method on the chat box.

I am on PC
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate

Either the file is corrupted or your client has dropped connection or there is some other connection issues.

File was not corrupted: I was able to send the image a few minutes after it failed.

Client did not drop connection: I had a persistent view of my connection to steam during the process, as well as watching streaming video and having continuous connection to an online game server (Ark Survival Evolved).

Some other connection issue: I have no idea, I dont have an eye on steam's cloud servers.



Do Steam's Cloud Servers sometime lose connection with game clients, and we users dont know about it?

How can I check my connection with Steam Cloud Servers?

Server issues happen, yes. Only thing you can do is try at a later time.

Its been like 6 months(? or almost) Since people are complaining about this bug and steam haven't done ♥♥♥♥ to fix it. Lol. It works for me tho, but sometimes I have to press retry 10 ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ times for my image to upload.
Valve ain't gonna fix it, they don't care about anything they created.

Yup, I have to spam retry until it it sends the image.
