i always get scared when steam says i have a community message

even though its usually just a "thanks for reporting a post" i always fear i got a temp ban for something

I get them at a specific time-frame.

They get issued at exactly 24 hours after your last message.

This is an anti-spam measure as far as i can see.

Check the time-stamps on the two unread community messages...

Older UGC tend to take a longer time to be processed.

It's similar with disabled accounts.

Often action will be taken but you won't see it.

This is mostly the case with disabled scam accounts.

They are often disabled, or returned to their owner.

No message is sent when some form of action was taken.

This whole system is a feed-back process.

I am happy that Valve implemented it.

I wasn't here since the beginning, but i can say, during the past few months (from 2018); they've done a TON of updates!

They mass update the messages right about this time every day. You know, near the end of their work day...? Pacific Time.
