My PC acting weird when playing games?
So it started about a week ago. Some games (all of them) except rainbow six siege has crashed after maybe 2-3 minutes inside any game. The sound glitches out and then the game crashes or my computer does. I got no virus or any driver / windows update. I got a GTX 1080 graphics card and a Intel core 8700k 3,7GHz processor. And 16GB of ram. Any help?

Check your temps.

Works when i lower graphics.
It's temp related then. High probability. When your system is under load you get heat build up in 4 key places. Your gpu and vram, your cpu and your system ram. The heat can causes expansion and can in odd cases can cause connector pins to lose contact which of course throws things into chaos.. Of course when things cool down, things contract and contact is restored.

My advice. give your system some servicing. Open it up, remove your gpu and your system ram, dust out the the case and especially around the slots, then dust the card on the gfx card. THen reinsert and lock them in again. Also wouldn't hurt to dust the cpu fan as well.

Now if you;'re a more advanced user. what you coul also do is remov your cppu fan, clean off the old thremal paste an, spread some fresh thermal past, remount the fheatsink and fan..
