The cheating problem in Saliens
As it stands, there are a ton of people using scripts to cheat in the game. A lot of them coming from the sub-reddit /r/saliens, and their steam group that was recently made.
And it shows because a group that was made like 3 days ago is on the top ranked groups. They are using scripts to play the game, and it isn't fair to regular people.
As it stands, they are winning all of the Steam games, maximizing their levels, and getting easy badges, items, and steam cards they can sell on the market for money.
My question is why is Valve allowing people to cheat? This is even worse than the 2015 monster clickr game, because in this you're not just winning a ranked badge. On top of leveling up a badge for free, you're winning cards and items you can sell, and having a way higher chance of winning free games while the honest players recieve nothing.
This is incredibly unfair and if your going to have events where you give away free stuff to cheaters, you may as well not have an event at all.

One doesnt get anything for cheating in the game.

If that was the case, there wouldn't be a ton of people cheating.
Valve intended users to use scripts just like the previous Monster Game in 2015. This is the sequel to that game.

The worst they can do to you, solve a planet so the draw happens.
Valve made the Saliens move faster so those without scripts can't get as much xp in the game.

Somehow I don't think that. I just find it pretty unfair that people using scripts have a way higher chance to win games and items to sell and such. To me it just feels like a slap in the face. Like what is the point in continuing to play if you won't win anything because of bots? It takes all fun out of the sale mini game. I rather have something like that 2013 winter auction where you bid gems for games.
You don't have a higher chance of winning for beating levels. You just have to play 1 game and idle on that planet until the tiles are all claimed...

You play how you want and the others will use scripts to gain higher levels.

We don't have higher chance to win games. But you're right for items that can be sold 0.01 cent.

They have s chance of winning a game every time they beat a planet. And as soon as it is beat, the script auto sends them to a new planet, where a regular player can't do that. So they are maximizing their chances to win games, along with items and cards they get from leveling up they can sell by using a script. So it is unfair.
And nothing is preventing you from using them either.

First off

- Steam Universe, Steamdb, another Steam group and the Hentai group are the cheaters who conquer every planet easily

- The EXP gain for Lv 8 and above is so high that you might as well script.

- You get trading cards just for opening the game

- Game prizes are based on the amount of time you've spent on a planet

Auto sending to a new planet immediately after one is beat. Time on planet = higher chance. Regular players aren't constantly checking when a planet is done. Ya, you totally don't have a higher chance. :claugh:
Level 10 is 1,200,00xp. On the hard tiles with 20xp per kill, that is going to take you forever without scripts.

The chances of winning are so slim that it does not really matter.

Ya I explained all that. You're basically getting more over other people who aren't scripting.

No planet would be solved without scripts, i guess
