Fallout New Vegas Or Metro 2033

I have other fallout games and wanted to get Fallout new vegas but also want Metro and wanted to know at least which one should i get first? If Fallout then is Goty worth it or just go with the standard?

Metro is a great game, but it is short.

I would buy the Ultimate version for modding compatibility.

New Vegas: Open world, many choices, 100+ hours
Metro 2033: Linear, good atmosphere, 10-15 hours

totally different kinds of games.

I personally found NV very boring even though I really liked Fallout 3. Although open world, there's no point in wandering of the beaten path too much as there's nothing to find. That's probably why I got so bored with it. And the companions are a pain to manage.

Loved Metro 2033 by the end of it. One of my favorite games.

So it depends if you like the rpg style - lots of dialogue, etc or if you like more action oriented games.

Like SPG, I can't get into New Vegas - and believe me, I've tried. It's too buggy and just kind of boring to me. I'd definitely pick Metro over it. A little short, but very good.

New Vegas cause of the replayability definetely

The problem with New Vegas is that you really need to explore the map to find the fun stuff, most of it is pretty damn boring, but takes some investigating to find cool stuff. Then out of no where you buy a fatman and your OP.


Metro 2033 is great, but extremely short and the replay value stinks.

New Vegas almost entirely for Old World Blues. The rest of the game is great too, but OWB is just fantastic.

I just did Metro 2033 yesterday, and i can assure you that you will have more fun on Fallout : New Vegas with all the DLC !

Metro Franchise is awesome, Exodus is coming and looks gorgeous. But 2033 and Last Light are linears, replayables and with a great story, like 30 - 40 hours with both games. Stealth and Rambo styles.

FNV GOTY is also one of my favourite games, but it's open world, great story, a lot of replayability, hundres of hours. I have more than 300 hours just with 1 faction and 1 ending chosen in all the DLCs. Sounds heavy and tedious, but worth it.
