I’ve been saying this for years.

Is the fan just loud or does it also make weird sound?

quick fix, get a cooling pad like this Thermaltake Massive V20[www.amazon.com] it will reduce the load on the internal fan by helping keep cool.

If you want to get a fan they are available, here is one[www.cdrtd.com] they are not too hard to install yourself if your local repair shop cannot source one. Or get the fan yourself and tell them to replace it.

I suggest in general to stay away from those so called "gaming" PC and "gaming" peripherals.
They are shiny, optic attractive but reliability is not their best sale argument.
Most gaminjg PCs are complete useless for upgrading inside, they built in the parts so close to the hardcase that it is impossible to change a graphic card or get the SSD drive, because as an expert here said, people took out the parts because they are cheaper then regular and I guess this is the main reason why there is so less space between the graphic card screw and the case that you need a special sideway screwdriver to get it out which nobody normal has at home.
This is my opinion about so called "gaming" PCs and peripherals, also those shiny keyboards break really fast, my Logitech wireless cost 1/3 of a cable gaming keyboard but the lifetime last 5x longer.
Also the wireless mouse which was with the keyboard together works fine, also in shooters, I had a Razer before and honestly, I didnt see this big difference.

All good when talking about desktops, but OP is talking about a laptop. I'd LOVE to be able to build a gaming laptop the same way we could build desktops.. As for MSI, my recent 1060 has been my first ever MSI purchase (because it was the cheapest 6gb 1060 at the shop) so let's see how it all goes.

To OP, the only thing I can advise is to learn about the internals of your laptop. With your brand and model in hand, go to Youtube and find disassembly videos to learn how to pull the thing apart and back together safely. That way, you can access the components you'd require to fix or give maintenance to. That way, you won't need to send the computer to anyone just to clean/replace a fan...
