Filter out Visual Novels/Anime

Is there anyway I can filter these out. Whenever I go to the store I have to search through these rubbish games and its annoying me.

It makes no sense as they are being reccomended to me and I LITERALLY have 0 visual novel/anime games.

Yup, you can filter out specific tags, done exactly the same myself.
How I did, give me a few mins to find the menu again :p

There you go, you can add tags to filter out there.

Yeah see thats the problem though, I've marked anime in my preferences as not wanted, but I still see em. Annoying.

Maybe some other tags you should add as well?
Not sure what though, adding "Anime" got rid of the issue for me.

there are three sets of preferences

that link gets you to the storefront and some other pages preferences and the discovery queue preferences

if you want to filter them out in the search, that's a different thing

TL;DR
1. apply the tag you don't like, in the search
2. watch the URL change
3. put a negative sign in front of the tag number, in the URL.

Use a standalone browser instead of Steam's half-cooked browser. It'll be easier on you.
