Steam Client editable address bar?

In my personal web browser, I found a steam community forum post that I would like to view/reply to, through the Steam Client. I copy the URL, then tab over to my Steam Client (where I'm already logged in), and attempt to "paste" the URL into the client's URL area... only to find out that can't be done. So, I look all over the Steam Client for an "in-app browser" and find nothing. Here's my question: If I know/possess the Steam Community Forum URL that I want to view/reply to, how can I copy/paste that URL into the Steam Client? Is this not possible? If not... <sigh>

you can always open it through the steam console that's what I'd do if I were in your situation.

1. "C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" -dev -console make a short cut using this as the link or add -dev -console to a steam shortcut
   
2. launtch steam through it then use the console tab
   
3. type the command open YourUrlHere and steam will open to that website in it's main window.

or if your to lazy you could always use the in game browser
