Product Key
I have a game that i purchased from actual software developer. (GIANTS Software Farming Simulator 17.) I have the product key in my email that i got when i purchased it, is this not the correct key to add it to my steam library? I need help on this thanks in advance and have a great day.

go to farm simulator site, and activate, not all key is for steam

It'll either activate in steam or not. Not a problem if you enter some mambo-jumbo in steam.
If it'll not - you can contact the support on the developer site - maybe it's for direct download from their site.

By using your eyes. Theres an input field with a "Please enter your product key" label on top.

Chances are, the EMail that contains the key also tells you all that.

I have used the product key to download from GIANTS website so i did use my eyes... i did not buy the game from STEAM i bought it straight from GIANTS and downloaded it from them.. so i kno whow to use my eyes and i know how to download from the site trying to get the game in my steam account, and the only product key that i have been given will not work thats why i am asking.......

To have it on Steam, you must purchase the game on Steam.

I skimmed that site and read nothing about needing a steam account to play the game.
