What is an offensive avatar to the steam support?

So , here's the deal , after having literally no issues with anyone about my meme avatar ( sexual innuendo with a brazzers logo) , it got deleted with no reasons given because of massive reports. Now that I can't have a profile picture for 7 days. I'd wish to know if there are bigger punishments for repeated over usage of memes ( offensive amirite?) and if there are , how the ♥♥♥♥ am I supposed to know what is offensive? Do I have to assume everything is offensive and ask if it's okay before changing my profile picture out of fear of getting perma banned?

Mass reports are redundant as every report is looked at.

It was reported at least 1 time and support decided to remove it.

Judging by your current name, I can see the possible reason why.

My current name had nothing to do with the avatar. My name has also nearly nothing to do with the word "♥♥♥". It's just because someone called me like that during a game and I found it funny. My original name is Redcom. Anyway it has nothing to do with my point , if you just wanna troll me , fine go ahead but I'm just asking for help there , I'm asking if I'm supposed to assume everything is offensive according to them out of year of getting banned? Am I supposed to take a blank and boring avatar just because I'm afraid of getting perma banned for something such as a profile picture?

I was gonna drop out the image I was using because I used it to do a joke to a friend. I was planning on using a DDLC related Sayori image so I'm just saying that it will spoil some of the story. I guess it's offensive even tho I saw people using this profile picture since the release of the game and having no problems with it. Also , mass reports are redundant is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ man. I reported someone for having an actual sexual artwork three years ago. Checked his profile a few days ago as he is in my friend list. Artwork still there , unchanged since years.

Anything that could be deemed offensive will be removed. So overtly sexual, pretty anything Nazi or Confederacy related, anything racist and so on.
And yes, the punishments will escalate if you pile them up. The time you can not change your avatar will be longer and longer after each removed one, up to around 6 months if i remember correctly.

They may also permanently suspend your account from using a avatar.


PS: I dont thing that avatar is offensive but Steam works in mysterious ways. They have been cracking way more down on any kind of possible "offensive" avatars over the last few months.

It might. But anything might upset people. I get upset out of people joking about bullying because it's a serious issue yet there is literally a game called " Bully " in the steam shop. I can't just ask mods if it's okay to use an avatar every time I want to change avatar. I understand banning for sexual things , I'm just a little triggered over the lack of a warning and instead insta 7 days ban, but seriously , offensive stuff? Anything can be offensive to some people.

Overly sexual is hard to explain. If there is no actual nudes , is it overly sexual? I could share you the avatar that gave me my ban but I'd rather not risk another ban on the forums this time.
