Fallout 4 Vr, Skyrim Vr, Elite: Dangerous, War Thunder, Project Cars 1 + 2, Pavlov, Onward, Rec Room etc etc etc etc.
There's loads of enjoyable games and those are just a handfull of the titles that I've been enjoying in VR over the last few years and not one of them felt "limited".
What on earth are you talking about? There are both leg trackers and gloves if you want them for the Vive. What exactly do you want leg trackers for anyway? Are you planning on kicking a ball about?
Oh, I see now. You dont know anything about VR nor have you even tried it. You've claimed features dont exist when they do and judged content you've not played on features it dosent need.
Oh and for the record, Beat Saber (A VR only game) shot to the top of Steams charts yesterday too massive praise. You keep judging VR however you want but you're the one losing out on the fun.
All you naysayers can do what you like. It's your money so spend it how you see fit. I'm off fighting zombies, slaying dragons and flying spaceships when I game in VR now. Best gaming experainces I've ever had and going back to desktop games is of no intrest to me. If devs want my money, their games need VR support.
There are dozens of great games already that are quality titles, It's only gonna get better. I love the atmosphere around VR, gaming feels fresh again for me.
I don't know if you watched Facebook's keynote but they have prototypes in the works that solve a lot of issues that plague VR now.
VR is to video games as the touch screen is to cell phones
People used to say touch screens would die out fast when they first came out as well. Just poelpe being naieve. they cant help it, its human nature to look down on something you cant have
This video gives me chills. I cant wait to see the shooter genre develop in VR. farpoint and arizona sunshine are really good too.
You will miss out on all the games out now and in the next 10 years then. Think about the crazy number of games that are better than the best flat game available you will be missing out on in 10 years
RE7 for example. If you played that game flat before you played it in VR then you missed out on a hell of a lot of satisfaction
People said the same thing about dedicated GPUs for games. People said the same thing to Gabe Newel when he left Microsoft to form Valve and make Half Life.
We are well beyond "proof of concept" and just taking a few seconds to look at all the VR compatible titles on Steam shows many are anything but "simple". You can wait 10 years if you want . It might take that long for it to be at a price and level you are willing to buy in at and that is fair enough but for me and many others who have bought it, we'll be enjoying VR whilst you wait for something that meets your expectations. It's here now and will only get better and cheaper as time goes on.
