Can you log in the same account from two different computers
Say if im ingame on one computer, and I log in from somewhere else, what will happen to the first computer. Will the game close and kick you or not? I wanted to idle ingame on one and log into the other one and buy some stuff from the steam market

the account can only be accessed from one computer at a time. You can idle games and still use the market from the same computer at the same time.

sorry let me rephrase, as in someone is on my account playing, and i obviously dont mind but I need to buy stuff and dont want to disturb the account owner/person. (like e.g middle of the game, i login and they lose the game)

Sharing an account is against the Steam Subscriber Agreement anyways.

No.

i imagine his example like so (i'll imagine the situation, it is just an example)- his brother wants to play gmod on his pc cause brothers one can't run it. He, meanwhile wants to go for a cs1.6 deathmatch so he uses brothers laptop to login his steam and play it OR just look at market and check for discounts.

It is account sharing and at the same time i think it should be kinda allowed in this situation. The other person doesnt OWN it at any moment, the person just uses it and next to him stands the owner.

If rules would be so strict i think like half or more of Steam users would be removed cause we all have friends that come at our homes and we play games with them. Same with Talk And Nobody Explodes game- you or friend sits by the pc and another reads manual.

No.

I logged my account to Internet Cafe computer before.

And that is not secure at all. You don't know if those PCs have cheats or keyloggers on them.

But that has nothing to do with the topic.

Wrong in the case, the thread opener asks about.
If you try to log into a second computer, while being still online on another, you can, but will automaticly be force-logged-out from the first one.

You could have the first one running in offline mode though without being affected, if you set it that way beforehand. Won't work for multiplayer games, but if the person would be okay with a singleplayer...

Geez... you guys really have no clue how Steam works.

You can log into the same account multiple times, no problem. Forcibly getting kicked was before they added inhouse-Streaming, but it's no longer an issue.

You can only PLAY on one login, though. But even if you are, you can still be logged into the same account elsewhere. If you start a game on another login, you will get a popup telling you that you're already playing "X" on another computer, and that you will be kicked out of the game there if you continue. But, again, you will only be kicked out of the game, not out of the login.

And yes, I do this all the time when I fetch my cards and want to play something.

The point being, "sharing an account" is not allowed.

Okay, seems like I was not up to date about this change. Only "shared" an account once at a friend, before I got my own a couple of years ago, and back then he told me not to get into online mode, while he is.

I have more than one machine and have been logged on to steam on more than one computer at the same time without any problem.

Having said this I have not played games on both at once because I am only one person.

I use one to add funds to my steam wallet (and other stuff unrelated to steam) and the other one to game on...

Have not had to log off of one to log onto the other to add funds - so I assume the only issue might be to try playing games at the same time...
