Subscription payment method changed from Paypal to Wallet and no way of changing it back
I got this message: "Steam attempted to process your recurring payment for The Elder Scrolls Online: Plus 1 Month Membership Recurring but was unable to complete the transaction.

Please ensure that your payment information is up to date and that you have enough funds on your account for this transaction. You can update your subscription and saved billing information anytime from your account details page."

So after a lot of clicking (Steam isn't very good showing you what you actually need to see) I managed to find out that they tried to take it from my wallet - but I had it set up to take it from Paypal. And going into payments and billing does not show Paypal as an option! I''ve sent in a report to Steam Support but not sure when they'll answer. I've had to cancel my subscription, and will wait until tomorrow to renew - but why did they change the method? Seems very shoddy.

Has anyone else had this problem?

At step 2 payments it may have included any funds you had in your wallet keep on eye on that one and put it to Paypal then the next payment step is also Paypal then it will only use Paypal completely. I have to do this everything I buy a game and I have a some funds in my wallet.

What currency does Steam use in your country?

What does Paypal use for you?

Jaunita, this is a recurring payment, not an individual purchase, do you mean that if there is anything in steam wallet it will change the method for subscriptions? And why is is it impossible to change it back to paypal?

999999999, Steam uses British Pounds for me, and so does Paypal. There shouldn't be a conflict there.

I had this show up with the billing for my subscription to ESO Plus; after going around several times trying to re-establish PayPal as the payer for the subscription, I just said 'to hell with it' and entered my subscription directly through the ESO website, which was perfectly happy to take PayPal.

Servers seem to be flickery again. Several other things are not working correctly at the moment (wishlist, clicking on links open only empty pages, authorization fails etc).

Was unable to buy a game for hours and had to use the website instead of the client. I got a "your credit card has been rejected" despite using Paypal for Steam.
