How to keep coming soon games out of New Releases

Constantly seeing coming soon games appear day after day in the new releases section, how do you filter these out so the list only contain "new releases" literal releases?

Sort it by release date.

It is sorted by release date, titles that have not yet released show up with today date. The developer I believe pays extra to have their games show up here before release, I may be wrong about that, but I don't want to have to sort through stuff that's not yet truly released.

This item is not yet available

They don't pay extra for any advertisement on Steam. It doesn't work like that.

They may abuse the system a bit by changing the date for their game making it come up again.

So the answer is to start reporting these games to steam that the developer is abusing the release date. A better solution would be to allow us to filter these out, was hoping I was just missing how to do that.
