What are the dimensions of the new library posters?
I want to make my own custom image for a game but I don't know what the dimensions are for the posters

600x900 is the official size.

How do you add an image to the library for a non-Steam game?

Right click game > manage > set custom artwork

You can also change the banner and logo on the game page by right clicking on the banner.

You must be using a pay-extra version of Steam. Because, I have the basic Steam, and I don't have "Set Custom Artwork" under "Manage", when I right click on an installed game.

I should of been more clear and said to right click on the game cover in the grid, not the list on the left. I tested it with a non-Steam game and it works the same as a regular Steam game.

Thank you so very much. This answers a question topic (another thread) that I started that nobody else answered for days. But the same question was answered by you when I replied to this topic.
What are the precise dimensions of the banner (not the 600x900 logo, but the one on top of the game's home page)? I downloaded this one (https://s3.amazonaws.com/steamgriddb/thumb/9b07d4001632189d19de964894501e34.png), but when I set it as banner, not all of it appeared in the allocated space, so the image exceeded the allocated space.

From most sources, I've found that the banner size is typically 920x430, but I use that as a template when creating custom images. Once the image is set in Steam (desktop, not sure about the Deck) the actual viewable area is approximately 243.5x62 roughly centered on the 920x430 template.

Best source is the Steamworks documentation: https://partner.steamgames.com/doc/store/assets/libraryassets
