Selling or trading keys is strictly prohibited. Gifting keys is perfectly acceptable.

I'm pretty sure Fanatical has a similar stance just couldn't find a support article about it. So yeah 100% a lie.

Also your "trade libraries" using family share idea is bad, you're suppose to share with people you know (by YOU login in in their PC), not strangers from the internet, once you give them your login details they can do with your account whatever they want.

Per the law and numerous court rulings (from top courts in the EU, Australia, Canada, and with comments of support from the US Supreme Court), yes you can resell your licenses because they are your sole exclusive property. However, if they're attached to a digital distribution service, like Steam, then the established convention is that the digital distribution company doesn't have to assist you with that. So, once it's registered somewhere, it's basically registered there. If it isn't registered and is a loose key, then you can do what you choose to with it.
