Maybe next time, look up words similar to "IS PC GAMING DEAD" or "PC GAMING IS DOOMED".
Literally every couple weeks. More of the same.
If you don't like free to play or battle royale or dating sims or whatever else under the sun, you're absolutely free to not buy them or play them. Got issues with the publishers of those games? Send them a politely worded but reasonable explanation of why.
The existence of several thousand NOT free to play and NOT 'whatever else you don't like' beg to differ with your opinion on the state of the industry overall.
Or over $2K ?

OP, just because it is an FTP game does not mean that no money is earned. If that were not the case, nobody would. Developers are not stupid or pure philanthropists................
It was about $10 a week for over 4 years. Thats what "free"2play is.
Those are the people that allow the existence of f2p games; something like 15% of peopel, on average, ever spend money in them. The revenue needs to come from somewhere.
Im not even complaining about the $$, it was the equivalent of coffee money, just pointing out that people can spend a LOT of money on those games.
I have an insane friend that dropped over 3K on some mobile game over the years...i think HES crazy, so its all relative.
