Which server has the highest download speed?

I have gigabit internet. I use the Sacramento server for downloads. Steam caps the transfer at 600Mb/s most of the time and 500Mb/s during high usage times. Anyone know of a download server with a higher cap?

Read and try everything...

Try all download servers until you find one with speeds you are happy with.

There are over 130 to try.

Any server near me was slow as dirt. Nearest does not always equal faster.

Today, Rio was better for me. Yesterday, Sweden was better. Btw... I'm on the East Coast.

Yeah, trying 130 servers sounds like a pain, especially since I would have to install a large game from each one to test its speed... which is why I was asking for a suggestion from someone who gets transfer rates higher than the ones I posted.

No one place will always be faster.

You only need to start 1 download and switch servers. It will continue with every restart.
