I can not create guides (SOLVED)
Good to all, I've been wanting to do a guide for some time but for some reason when I want to do it, it says "there has been a problem when requesting my request".

This happens to me when I try to make a guide to steam.

In L4D2, for example, if I click on guide from the library, it takes me directly to the steam store.

If I go into community guides and click create guide, I get the same error as at the beginning.

Is there a reason or a fault for not letting me create guides?
Someone knows something about it?

Don't know, I made my guide without any hitches.

Thank you, the problem is that I have created guides, guides.

I would understand that I am "wrong" if steam would have prohibited me from creating guides for any reason, but I do not make senseless guides and luckily they have never eliminated any of them.

For that reason I do not understand why I get that error, if I know there are other people who can create them xD

Open one of the guides you have published
I opened one of yours then clicked on guides it took me here, do you see create a guide
Browse and rate player-created guides for this game. Or (create your own )and share your tips with the community.

can you see these?

It does seem to be an illusive one to find Create a Guide tab.

I'm using the steam client on PC.

I can start the creation of the guide. Add the title, the image, a description and choose the categories.

When I give to keep and continue is when I get the error.

I have tried different juices that I bought in the steam shop, but none of them gives me the option to continue with the guide as it does not happen to me from the point I mentioned.

Sorry I edited my comment.
Do you verify guide then save?
You have made them before.
Could be a glitch with Steam?
Try just saving that go back to your profile check it is there.
Try deleting Steam web cache and Steam downloads.
Just a thought. Sorry i can't help any further with that but I would blame Steam.
You make good guides but they are in a different language.
Try asking in Help and tips?

I will try to eliminate the cache and the downloads and if it still does not work.

Thanks for your time.

It is already solved, apparently it was a problem with the image, although in the guide it says that as a minimum the image must be square and 195x195 and mine was square of 250x250. I do not understand where the fault was the truth, but I have been able to solve it by adding another image. Thanks for your time.

I had no issues uploading an image 200x200px, but the problem I had was my image was a PNG. Changing it to a JPEG worked

bro le ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ steam keeps being a ♥♥♥♥ and keeps saying "error our system is ♥♥♥♥" not allowing me to make my guide. nothing to do with the image too.

yeah the error messages for image uploads has caught me out once before too, as I also like to mess about a bit with formats. Had to start over. I just save often and keep it in draft until I am done nowadays.

This thread was quite old before the recent post, so we're locking it to prevent confusion.
