Discord / Steam/ Internet problem (probably not uncommon)
(TL:DR, Brand new computer, Steam and Discord don't connect / drop connection as soon as I run a game, and the servers on the games dont show up / can't connect to servers)
Hey friends,
I just bought an MSI GF63 8RD and I downloaded Discord shortly after Steam off of Chrome, just after downloading Chrome itself when the setup was finished. Now here's my problem; My Discord call connection / server connection either turns red, or disconnects all together and attempts connection in orange as soon as I launch a game, and I've noticed this with Steam too. Once the game window pops up, both my Discord and Steam Friends loses connection, and all attempts to reconnect result in failure. I've ALSO noticed that in addition to the outside apps, in-game, the server lists and connections simply do not load. I've only downloaded Unturned and SCP: Secret Laboratory, and on both, none of the servers show up in the multiplayer tab.
I don't think this is an internet issue, because I have a great connection when it comes to E-Mail, surfing, Netflix, and even a web connection speed test. The only time Discord and Steam "work properly" is if a game isn't running.
If anyone has any tips or fixes please let me know, I'd hate to have to return this computer because I like it very much.

Hard to tell without proper diagnosis, have you tried using LAN cable? It could be a faulty wifi card. And make sure you have proper drivers first. I own an MSI laptop as well.

MSI's budget laptop line has QC issue, I wouldn't be surprised if it's faulty even if it's brand new, my keyboard broke after 4 months. Just google the model name of your laptop, there should be a page of your laptop on MSI website that lets you download all the drivers needed.

Do you have any other device to verify? If it's really ISP issue then the Steam forum can't help sadly, you'd have to contact them directly.
