Can't report a profile

Im trying to report someone's steam profile cuz that person keeps spamming me. When i click the button "report profile" the pop up just loads infinitely and doesn't prompt me to the report selections. It's been like this for months now and i never really bothered fixing until now. Can someone help me?

Should this be the case then try to report it via the Steam client instead. Otherwise you'll have to disable your browser extensions.

Oh sry i forgot to mention, the problem persists both in my internet browser and steam client. I think there might me something wrong with my steam cause i also can't send pics/vids and voice chat

You mean that madman that's commenting on your profile? Do you get to see the get to see the multiple choice option, where you get to choose what it is you are reporting it for?

Perhaps you can block it, and remove the comments instead?

Yea that guy lmao. Also thats exactly the problem for me, i don't see the multiple choice option. Its stuck on the loading icon.

That's just awful.
Try reporting the individual comments instead. It's weird you don't see those questions. Because they do show up here.
I would not speak with this character if I were you. Also not by posting on it's profile. For it's clearly being insane. You can still report and hide those comments, right?

Idk how to report individual comments and yes i probably can hide the comments by blocking

That is very strange. If it's happening in an internet browser then it can't be a Steam problem because (i) your internet browser was not developed by Valve and (ii) that report flag code works for everyone else.

It's almost like something (internet security software? organisational firewall?) is stopping the javascript from running after the windows has popped up.

I flagged one of those comments for, well... it doesn't matter what for. It's not normal to write things like that on someone's profile. Not even as a joke. Let's see what happens.

Block the person and he can no longer comment on your profile.

Here are several months later and I encountered someone harassing my wife on my steam profile sending illicit messages -- from an account not even on our friends list. We get the same issue, unable to report, perpetual loading.. in multiple different browsers, and the steam client, too.

Valve needs to fix this ♥♥♥♥. I'm tired of sexual ♥♥♥♥ getting sent to my family. You can't be a woman on the internet without running into this type of behavior.

I have the same problem, too. Sometimes this function works well, but sometimes it just keep loading. I hope it will be fixed

ive had this issue for years i cant report nor see any mutual friends

Cant report players, but I can report creations and such on the workshop. It just sits there loading forever. Doesnt matter if Im on the browser version or in the app. The ♥♥♥♥ is this?
