Frequent Friend Requests From Chinese Accounts
So this only became a problem about two months ago but now I get a random friend request from a different Chinese account nearly twice a week now. Anyone else having to put up with this or am I just unlucky. I've reported every single one of them as suspected scammers, it's so bad I've just set up a copy and paste report at this point.

Really sucks that's the only solution to this. I just wish there was any kind of explanation as to why me and why now all of a sudden in my almost 10 years on Steam this has never been an issue.

Oh wow that's even the exact name, literally all of them are some variation of that name.

They're running out of ways to get people to click links. They send.out their bots to initiate contact.

Well thanks for the info I'll just keep using my suspected item theft/scammer report template on them. I've always worried about reporting accounts without official interaction outside of it being suspicious because I don't know Valve handles reports that don't have any real evidence attached to them.

They must be getting seriously desperate then because I do not trade items. Never have and never will. Honestly I have been on Steam for 8 years and would not even know how to trade if I wanted to.

I too am getting a few request a week from Asian patrons.

I just ignore them and move on.

Yeah last time I tried to trade with someone they were like what's the key value of your items I was like keys are the currency we trade in? What happened to the good old days of hey I like that hat, cool I like your hat too, want to trade our hats so we can experience a new hat together lol
