Hide game icons

How do I hide the icons from the games list in the library? They make the entire library look like a cluttered mess. They serve no function whatsoever. I don't know how they managed to ruin the look of steam this badly. The fonts are smaller, and still less information is displayed on the screen. A ton of clutter, unused space, and unintuitive layout makes the new library a right wreck.

Came here to ask the same question. How do we remove icons in the left list? I never used the icons, always had them disabled because I don't like ugly design that most "designers" nowadays think we want. Lol, what a bunch of ignorant, talentless, worthless dunces. Everyone thinks they can do design nowadays. No, you can't. This is proof.

Here you can revert back to the old style. Way better then this Windows 8 Metro clone!
