I hate the entire thing
Ditto. This is ridiculous.
Go to "All Games" in the sidebar menu.
Select the top game and Shift-click the last game to select them all.
Drag them ALL into the Favourites category.
View favourites category.
Exactly, keep it simple and efficient, that's what i think.
This should be a different client we can opt into or make the classic possible to opt in for using.
It works thanks but as soon you click on "home" button it comes back to the problem. (favourites category view also works with 0 games into it) I really hope they allow us to change/remove the "what's new" shelf or even give us an option for remove this new library page completely with all of the pointless functions it has included. I hope they're not thinking about change our profile pages too... I'm scared.
You have to right-click on each item and it comes up with a drop down menu comprising of:
Remove Update.
Show Less from "X"
Show More from "X" (Why?)
Select "Show Less..." and it will start to remove the items from the bar.
But wait, there's more!
You'll end up losing that option with items still there, because who doesn't like more work. So then you have to select "Remove Update" until it's all gone and then the "What's New" bar goes away completely.
It'll probably come back with more "informative" stuff tomorrow, because of course it will.
Thank you so much @Skitchy it works, appreciate it. isn't the definitive solution but it's better than nothing for sure.
