games crashing (invalid platform)
I have windows 10 pro 64 bit and games are opening, im playing for around 15 minutes then they freeze. i use task manager to close them and when i try to re launch the game it says error (invalid platform) this is happening for Far Cry 5, Starbound, Elite Dangerous, Far Cry New Dawn, Garry's Mod, and Beam NG.drive, other games also do it but i dont really play them that much. is there anyone who knows why. i have a Ryzen 5 2600X and an RX590 OC it is not overheating, the CPU only gets to 49 C and the GPU gets to 50 C help would be greatly appreciated.

Please go to the top of the Steam library window and click HELP > SYSTEM INFORMATION and paste the ENTIRE list here. That way we can see whether there are drivers out of date, or other obvious issues.

Usually 'invalid platform' occurs only when you are trying to run a 64b game on a 32 bit system, I thought. It might be that you need more ram, or to reinstall parts of your system, but can't really tell until we see the full specs. :)
Maybe set your antivirus to exclude the games.
